• RESOLUTION 2011 - 6 6 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AUTHORIZATION OF CHANGE IN SERVICES NO. 3 TO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE BROUSSARD GROUP, INC. FOR THE PROVISION OF ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE EDDIE DURHAM PARK SITE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT; INCREASING THE AGREEMENT AMOUNT FROM $40,800.00 to $79,050.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AUTHORIZATION OF CHANGE IN SERVICES AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. On October 13, 2010, the City entered into an agreement (the "Agreement ") with The Broussard Group, Inc., d /b /a TBG Partners (the "Consultant ") for the provision of professional landscape architecture services in connection with the Eddie Durham Park Site Development Project (the "Project ") in the amount of $29,425.00. 2. Authorization of Change in Service ( "ACIS ") No. 1 was approved on February 28, 2011 for $9,650.00 to add the Victory Gardens Park Project and ACIS No. 2 was approved • on April 6, 2011 in the amount of $1,725.00 for the submittal of plans and specifications to the State for accessibility review. 3. It is necessary to increase the amount of this Agreement by $38,250 in order to consolidate all work on the Project into one bid package in order to save the City time and money; however, the funding required by this ACIS No. 3 will cause the Agreement to exceed the authorized threshold of $50,000.00. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The attached Authorization of Change in Services No. 3 for $38,250.00 to the Agreement with the Consultant is approved. PART 2. The increase of the Agreement amount from $40,800.00 to $79,050.00 is approved. PART 3. The City Manager is authorized to execute the attached Authorization of Change in Services on behalf of the City. PART 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and •
