<br />The City Council of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, will hold a public hearing in the Council
<br />Chambers at City Hall, 630 E. Hopkins, at 8,00
<br />P.m. `on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, to consider
<br />amending the Land Development Code Section
<br />4.3.4.6 to require all new construction to be built
<br />within the area generally bounded by University
<br />Drive on the north, LBJ Drive on the west,
<br />Hutcheson Street on the south and Moon Street
<br />on the east to have underground utilities from
<br />the building to the property line. All new utilities
<br />extended from off -site to serve the development
<br />must also be underground or within an ease-
<br />ment along the rear of the property as provided
<br />In chap"r 74, Section 74.156. of the San Marcos
<br />Cods:. Utilities within the Underground Utility
<br />Area shah be subject to the standards, rules and
<br />regulations in Chapter 74, Article 4, Chapter 86,
<br />Article 4, the City's utility extension policies, and
<br />any other applicable codes and ordinances.
<br />The City of San Marcos does not discriminate
