The motion carried <br />18. 8:OOPM Hold a public hearin to recei <br />g ve comments for or against Ordinance 2011 -21 <br />concerning 1.9 acres, more or less, of land in the Park Addition, Third Division Subdivision <br />located at 817, 833 and 907 Chestnut Street; amending the Future Land Use Map of the <br />City from "Nc" Neighborhood Commercial at 817 and 833 Chestnut Street and from <br />"LDR" Low Density Residential at 907 Chestnut Street to " "MU" Mixed Use; amending <br />the Official Zoning May of the City by rezoning 817 and 833 Chestnut Street from "NC" <br />Neighborhood Commercial District, 907 Chestnut Street from 'IMF-1211 Multiple - Family <br />Residential District and the remainder of said 1.9 acres, more or less, to "PDD" Planned <br />Development District with base zoning of "MU" Mixed Use; approving Planned <br />Development District standards for the Chestnut Street Lofts Planned Development <br />District; including procedural provisions; and providing for penalties; and consider <br />adoption of Ordinance 2011 -21 on the first of two readings. <br />Matthew Lewis, Director of Development Services, provided Council a presentation regarding <br />how staff is working to mitigate and minimize the solids that could potentially create "hill- slope" <br />and further sedimentation being deposited into the River. <br />At approximately 8:30 p.m. Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Hearing. <br />Thomas Rhodes, Buda, TX, represented ETR Development and requested that Council look <br />favorably on this project. <br />There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 8:31 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomason and a second by Council <br />Member Scott, the City Council voted (6) for and (0) opposed, Council Member Thomason was <br />absent, to approve Ordinance 2011 -21 on the first of two readings. The motion carried. <br />19. 8:OOPM Hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or against Ordinance 2011 -22 <br />amending the San Marcos City Code by adding a new section to Chapter 4, Article 3 <br />entitled "Underground Utility Area "; including procedural provisions; and providing an <br />effective date; and consider adoption of Ordinance 2011 -22 on the first of two readings. <br />At approximately 8:52 p.m. Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Hearing. <br />
