Planning and Zoning Commission <br />City Clerk, Jamie Lee Pettijohn, provided Council with data regarding the current vacancies <br />needed to be filled on various Boards and Commissions. Following discussion, Council directed <br />staff to bring back an ordinance to replace the representative from the Hispanic Chamber of <br />Commerce on the Convention and Visitor Bureau Board with a representative from El Centro, <br />and to provide Council with a weekly list of any new applicants for the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. <br />27.1 Hold a discussion and Provide direction to Staff regarding aPPointments for the <br />following Boards and Commissions vacancies: <br />A. Arts Commission <br />City Clerk, Jamie Lee Pettijohn, provided Council with data regarding the current vacancies <br />needed to be filled on various Boards and Commissions. <br />28.Ouestion and Answer Session with Press and Public. This is an opportunity for the Press <br />and Public to ask questions related to items on this agenda. <br />Tyler Barlow, 334 Craddick, stated that he was very happy with how the Council addressed • <br />item #24. He asked, "What are your ideas for handling that trash on the City side ?" <br />Council advised Mr. Barlow that staff would be more than happy to meet with him to address <br />his concern following the meeting. <br />29.Adiournment. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomason and a second by Council <br />Member Terry, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the <br />regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council at 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
