Building permit <br />applications for renewable energy systems shall be accompanied by <br />standard drawings, and site plan (showing the location of the proposed <br />renewable energy system and the locations of all existing buildings, <br />structures and property lines to scale along with distances). <br />(2) Building permit applications for renewable energy systems shall be <br />accompanied by a line drawing of the electrical components in sufficient <br />detail to allow for a determination that the manner of installation conforms <br />to the National Electrical Code. This information may be supplied by the <br />manufacturer. <br />(3) An engineering analysis of any structure over 24 feet total height showing <br />compliance with the International Building Code and certified by a <br />licensed professional engineer shall also be submitted. <br />(4) When a renewable energy source will be connected to the electric <br />distribution grid an interconnect agreement with the electrical utility <br />provider must be in place prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br />(2) Additional Requirements for Small Wind Enerav Svstems. <br />(1) Visual Appearance: LiQhtinQ: and Power Lines. <br />a.
