<br />92. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-182 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE GREATER SAN <br />MARCOS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL AND THE <br />SAN MARCOS AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR AN <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />2002-2003; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECIT ALS: <br /> <br />1. The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce administers a community Economic <br />Development Program through the Greater San Marcos Economic Development Council. <br /> <br />2. The City of San Marcos desires to renew its contract with the Greater San Marcos <br />Economic Development Council and the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce for fiscal year <br />2002-2003, in order to enhance and diversify the San Marcos area economy. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The terms and conditions of the attached agreement between the City of San <br />Marcos, the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greater San Marcos Economic <br />Development Council for an economic development program for fiscal year 2002-2003 are <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute this agreement on behalf <br />of the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 3.
