<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> <br />STREET LIGHTING & TRAFFIC SIGNAL SERVICE <br />Rate Schedule - SL <br /> <br />l::ffective: February 1, 2003 <br /> <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for street lighting and traffic signal service on the basis of this <br />Rate Schedule - SL. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and the City of San Marcos Electric Utility Rules and <br />Regulations are incorporated by reference as a part of this rate schedule. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is available throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric Utility System (the "City <br />System"). <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to the City of San Marcos and agencies of the State of Texas and the United States of <br />America for the lighting of public rights-of-way and thoroughfares where the lighting system is connected to or can be <br />readily connected to the existing City System. <br /> <br />CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> <br />Service under this rate schedule shall be alternating current, 60 Hertz, single phase at the City's option of the standard <br />voltages available from the City System. Resale service is not permitted under this rate schedule. <br /> <br />ONTHL Y RATE <br /> <br />SMEU-Supplied Fixtures With Mercury Vapor Lamps: <br /> <br />175 Watt (7,800 Lumens) <br />Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to <br />400 Watt (21,000 Lumens) <br />Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to <br /> <br />$4.36 per fixture <br />70 kWh <br />$6.91 per fixture <br />155 kWh <br /> <br />SMEU-Supplied Fixtures With High Pressure Sodium Vapor Lamps: <br />100 Watt (9,500 Lumens) $3.50 per fixture <br />Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to 40 kWh <br />250 Watt (27,500 Lumens) $6.50 per fixture <br />Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to 125 kWh <br /> <br />Customer Supplied Fixtures & Lamps: <br />All Metered kWh <br /> <br />$0.0446 per kWh <br />$0.0350 per kWh <br /> <br />Traffic Signals (All Metered kWh) <br /> <br />The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges imposed by any <br />governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volumes of electricity purchased <br />or sold by the City. <br /> <br />C:\TEMP\Electric Utility rate schedules- 11-02.doc <br />
