<br />Six Month Rule - Any RLF contractor that has not begun project activities within the first six (6) months of <br />the contract period will have RLF contract funds de-obligated and its contract terminated. Project activities <br />which RLF contractors must begin to meet this requirement include procurement of special services, <br />environmental clearance, etc. <br /> <br />Technical Assistance - When requested, the City may provide technical assistance to groups <br />representative of persons of low and moderate income to develop proposals for the use of RLF funds. The <br />level and type of assistance will be determined by the City based upon the specific needs of the residents. <br /> <br />Uniform Relocation Assistance And Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (Uniform Act) - A <br />change in requirements under these activities has impacted all projects where acquisition negotiations are <br />involved (acquiring real estate with a loan provided by the RLF or any other funds), effective on or after April <br />2, 1989.
