<br />95~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2002- 218 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO TEXAS <br />STERLING CONSTRUCTION, L.P. FOR THE CLOVIS BARKER ROAD <br />RECONSTRUCTION AND UTILITY RELOCATION PROJECT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT <br />DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS <br /> <br />PART 1. The award of a construction contract to Texas Sterling Construction, <br />L.P. forthe Clovis Barker Road Reconstruction and Utility Relocation Project in the amount <br />of $3,379,318.50 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute the contract <br />documents on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
