<br />Compensation will be in addition to that specified for Basic Services. The approval of the <br />City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which <br />exceeds $15,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Consultant regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Consultant's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Consultant with <br />copies of official City design standards and construction standards, City right-of-way maps, <br />and similar data, G.P.S. control points as horizontal and vertical control (NAVD83) in the <br />Project area, and other data and information in the City's possession needed by the <br />Consultant at the Consultant's request. <br /> <br />2.2 Provide seed files and symbol libraries for Microstation processing by the <br />Consultant. <br /> <br />2.3 Designate Richard Medina, General Services Supervisor, as the City's Project <br />Manager and authorized representative to act on the City's behalf with respect to this <br />Agreement. The City will examine the documents and information submitted by the <br />Consultant and promptly render responses to the Consultant on issues requiring a decision <br />by the City. <br /> <br />2.4 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Consultant to enter <br />public and private property as required for the Consultant to perform its services under this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />2.5 The City will bear all costs incident to this Article. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />CONSTRUCTION COST <br /> <br />3.1 DEFINITION <br /> <br />3.1.1 The construction cost will be the total cost or estimated cost to the City of all <br />elements of the Project designed or specified by the Consultant. <br /> <br />3.1.2 The construction cost will include at current market rates, including a reasonable <br />allowance for overhead and profit, the cost of any equipment which has been designed, <br />specified, selected or specially provided for by the Consultant, except that used materials <br />and equipment will be included as if purchased new for the Project. <br /> <br />9 <br />
