Briefly describe the type and quantity of positions and! or equipment/technology awarded: <br /> <br />In 1996, the City of San Marcos was awarded a COPS MORE grant <br />tr.)talling $158,906 with the city match of $52,969. This COPS MORE <br />Grant was for the purchase of 20 laptop computers for service in <br />the San Marcos Police Criminal Investigation Division. Additionally, <br />this grant provided for the purchase of Cerulean Computer Aided <br />Dispatch software that was implemented in our telecommunications <br />center. This project totaled $211,875. <br /> <br />2.
