<br />217. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2001- 80 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH VIA TECHNOLOGY, LLC FOR <br />THE PROVISION OF LAPTOP COMPUTERS, CONNECTORS, EXTERNAL <br />ANTENNAS AND SIERRA AIRCARDS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />THROUGH THE STATE GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION'S QISV <br />CATALOGUE PURCHASING PROCEDURE; AUTHORIZING THE <br />PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. A contract with Via Technology, LLC for the provision of 43 laptop <br />computers, 73 connectors, 73 external antennas, and 29 Sierra aircards for the Police <br />Department through the General Services Commission's QISV Catalogue Purchase <br />Procedure in the amount of $198,911.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl is authorized to <br />execute the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
