421 CONTRACT TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS - QT- 2901/3 <br />13. Document Imaging <br />13.1 Units <br />Provide five (5) Document Imaging user licenses (transferable). <br />13.2 Description <br />The Document Imaging software is an add -on solution to JustWare that provides document imaging, and OCR <br />functionality. It provides scanned and OCR'd output in the form of .TIF and /or .PDF files that resides in the <br />JustWare Virtual Filing Cabinet. <br />Each JustWare user that is responsible for scanning, modifying, redaction, cleanup or annotating imaged <br />documents requires Document Imaging software. JustWare users that merely view these documents from the <br />Virtual Filing Cabinet, or search for documents that have been scanned and OCR'd do not require purchase. <br />Document Imaging software provides the ability to accommodate multi -page scanning, so a TWAIN compliant <br />scanner that has feeder functionality is desirable. <br />13.3 New Dawn Responsibilities <br />a) Provide authorization keys for use for each purchased named user. <br />b) JustWare users that merely view and print these documents from the Virtual Filing Cabinet do not require <br />purchase. <br />13.4 Customer Responsibilities <br />a) Acquire TWAIN compliant scanners. <br />b) Install Adobe Acrobat Reader, and /or licensing and installation of Adobe Acrobat software. <br />13.5 Completion Criteria <br />This task is considered complete when New Dawn has delivered the access keys and customer has <br />acknowledged completion. <br />,v v4 New Dawn <br />
