While we are now doing business <br />as CenturyLink, we are continuing to use the name CenturyTel with our products and services until we have completed all work <br />updating our systems and platforms related to the companies' combination. As a result, you will see references in our response to <br />products and services and terms and conditions that continue to use the CenturyTel name. <br />CenturyLink proposes that any agreement between the parties use the CenturyLink standard contract, terms and conditions as a <br />baseline for developing the contract. By presenting this proposal, CenturyLink does not agree that the RFP or CenturyLink's <br />response will be a part of a final agreement in whole or in part. CenturyLink's intent is to negotiate a final binding agreement <br />consistent with its proposal but CenturyLink reserves the right to review all terms, conditions and pricing to be included in any final <br />agreement resulting between the parties. <br />Entity Providing Services <br />If awarded the contract, based on the requirements contained in the RFP we expect that the legal entity providing products and <br />services to you will be CenturyTel of San Marcos, Inc. and its affiliate CenturyTel Long Distance, LLC. There has been no change <br />of the entity as the result of our combination with EMBARQ. Only the d /b /a changes from CenturyTel to CenturyLink.
