<br />185 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2001- 140R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE <br />FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF <br />THE CITY, FROM VERY LOW DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br />FOR A 15.31 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED <br />AT 1651 POST ROAD AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On July 24, 2001, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of <br />the Master Plan from Very Low Density Residential to High Density Residential <br />for a 15.31 acre tract of property located at 1651 Post Road. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission did, on July 24, 2001, consider the request and voted to approve it and has <br />recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 27 thciay of Augus t <br />regarding the request. <br /> <br />,2001, <br /> <br />4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to Future Land Use Map <br />amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the <br />following resolution is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The following described tract of real property, which is in an area <br />shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as <br />Very Low Density Residential, shall be shown on that map as High Density Residential: <br /> <br />Street address: 1651 Post Road <br /> <br />Size: 15.31 acres. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 363, page 492, Hays County Deed Records. <br />
