<br />16. CONSTRUCTION. This Contract will be construed under the laws of the State of Texas, <br />and mandatory venue for any legal action under this Contract is in Hays County, Texas. The <br />term "will" in this Contract is mandatory. Pronoun references to a particular gender or to <br />singular/plural parties will be interpreted in the appropriate gender and number. The titles <br />of sections are for convenience only and do not affect the meaning of this Contract. <br /> <br />17. P ARTIAL INVALIDITY. In case any provision of this Contract is held to be invalid, <br />illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity, illegality, or <br />unenforceability will not affect any other provision, and this Contract will be construed as <br />if the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision had never been included in this Contract. <br /> <br />18. TIME. Time is of the essence. <br /> <br />19. COMMISSIONS. Neither party has engaged the services of a broker or realtor in <br />connection with this sale, and each party agrees to indemnify the other party against any <br />claims made for fees or commissions based on any such services rendered for or on behalf <br />of that party. <br /> <br />EXECUTED in multiple counterparts by the Seller and the Buyer on the dates set forth below.
