EXHIBIT A

STATEMENT OF WORK

On!anization

Dentist Who Care, Inc. is an organization made up of 124 dentists from the 138 member Rio Grande
Valley Dental Society. This group of dental professionals has come together because of a common
vision - the need to serve our area's enormous indigent children population with quality dental care.
Key tot he organization is the volunteer spirit of local dentists.

Mobile Dental Unit Pro2ram

Efforts to help this group of low income children will be made through the use of San Benito
volunteer Dentists and the Dentists Who Care Mobile Dental Unit. Each of our local Dentists have
pledged to volunteer up to three days per year serving on board a very sophisticated Mobile Dental
Unit. The unit is a fully operational mobile dental office complete with digital x-ray equipment,
computer network, exam and procedure instruments, custom features and fixtures which will assist
volunteer dentists in performing comprehensive dental services to San Benito's neediest children.

Dental Services

Dentists will be able to provide oral examinations, radiographs, emergency dental care, oral health
education and preventive dentistry. The Mobile Dental Unit will be based on school campuses
during the school year and to areas of high poverty during the summer months. It is anticipated that
approximately 600 children per year will receive comprehensive dental examinations and/or
treatment.

Tar2et Population

Dentists Who Care will work primarily with the San Benito School District to identify low income
areas within the city. Once identified, the Mobile Clinic will be dispatched to low income
neighborhood elementary schools to provide dental services to low/mod identified children.
Specifically targeted will be children who have neither Medicaid, insurance or financial means to
obtain services.
