<br />5. Operation and Maintenance of Water and Wastevvater Facilities <br />Water and wastewater services are available in the general area of this proposed <br />annexation. As land is developed within the annexed area, the subdivider will be <br />required to constmct water and sewer lines in accordance with the city's development <br />ordinances and utility extension policies in place at the time of development. Upon the <br />completion of construction and dedication of the any new water or wastewater facilities <br />to the city, the city shall provide on-going operation and maintenance of those facilities. <br /> <br />6. Operation and Maintenance of Roads and Streets <br />No roads or streets currently exist within the proposed annexation area. As land is <br />developed within the annexed area, the subdivider will be required to construct streets in <br />accordance with the city's existing subdivision policies. Upon completion of <br />constmction and dedication of any new roads and streets to the city, the city shall provide <br />on-going operation and maintenance for those facilities. <br /> <br />7. Electric Service <br />The property is located in the service area of two electrical service providers - the City- <br />owned San Marcos Electric Utility (SMEU) and the Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Inc. <br />(PEC). Service will be provided by each of those providers within the service areas that <br />have been established by the State of Texas. As land is developed within the annexed <br />area, service will be provided by each provider to their respective areas in a manner <br />consistent with the existing policies of that provider for the extension of electrical service <br />to new developments. <br /> <br />8. Operation and Maintenance of Parks, Play~rounds, and/or <br />Svvimmin~ Pools <br />No parks, playgrounds and/or swimming pools exist within the proposed annexation area. <br />The same standards and policies now established and in force within the city limits will <br />be followed in maintaining and expanding recreational facilities to serve the annexed <br />area. Upon annexation, the owners and residents of property located within the annexed <br />area shall be entitled to the use of all municipal parks and recreational facilities, subject <br />to the same restrictions, fees and availability that pertains to the use of those facilities by <br />other citizens of the city. <br /> <br />9. Operation and Maintenance of Other Public Facilities, Buildin~s and <br />Services <br />No other public facilities, buildings or services exist within the annexed area. The same <br />standards and policies now established and in force within the city limits \vill be followed <br />in maintaining and expanding other public facilities, building and services.
