<br />2. Consultant will contract with various state certified appraisers for the performance of <br />appraisal services. <br /> <br />3. Consultant will submit to City for review and approval, a total cost for appraisal <br />services in the standard acquisition process. <br /> <br />B. Consultant and Appraiser Fees: Eminent Domain Process (Condemnation Support <br />Services) <br /> <br />I. City acknowledges that once the Eminent Domain process is initiated for a parcel or <br />tract of land, the fee schedule for Services performed for Hearings and trials shall be <br />effective for the compensation of the Consultant and the Appraiser(s). <br /> <br />2. Fees for Special Commissioners Hearings and trial appearances shall include all pre- <br />hearing and/or pre-trial preparation and appearances at hearings and/or trials as <br />deemed necessary by the City Attorney or assigned legal counsel, as follows: <br /> <br />For Consultant: <br />F or Appraiser: <br /> <br />$75.00/hour <br />$l50.00Ihour <br /> <br />C. Payment for Consultant and Appraisal Services <br /> <br />Consultant shall submit monthly invoices for Services rendered on the Project, including <br />copies of current appraisal invoices received by Consultant for the prior month. The City <br />agrees to pay all invoices in full within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt thereof by <br />the City. Consultant shall be responsible for the payment of appraisal services to each <br />appraiser, as billed. <br /> <br />City and Consultant ackno\vledge that due to exigent circumstances on the Project, it has <br />been necessary for the City to authorize Consultant to provide professional services <br />before the effective date of the Letter of Agreement. City agrees to pay Consultant for <br />such services upon receipt of invoices for such services. <br /> <br />2 <br />
