<br />122. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2001- 186 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE SOUTHWEST TEXAS STATE <br />UNIVERSITY FOR THE PROVISION OF TOXICITY TESTING; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached interlocal agreement between the City of San Marcos <br />and Southwest Texas State University (SWT) for the provision of toxicity testing is <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. This interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to the Interlocal <br />Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, as amended. <br /> <br />PART 3. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 4. This Resolution shall be in fu!l force and effect imme.dia+ely from and <br />after its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this the 15nllayof NOVEMBER 2001 <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />
