<br />25. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2005- 9 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF PERSONAL COMPUTERS <br />FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM DELL COMPUTERS AND <br />ADVANCETECH SYSTEMS 2, INC. THROUGH THE TEXAS BUILDING <br />AND PROCUREMENT COMMISSION'S DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION <br />RESOURCES ("DIR")AND THE TEXAS BUILDING AND PROCUREMENT <br />COMMISSION'S CATALOG INFORMATION SYSTEMS VENDOR ("CISV") <br />PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS WITH THE STATE OF <br />TEXAS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The purchase of 16 personal desktop computers for the Police <br />Department from Dell Computers through the Texas Building and Procurement <br />Commission's DIR for a total of $21,874.56 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The purchase of 12 "ruggedized" laptop computers for the Police <br />Department from Advancetech Systems 2, Inc. through the Texas Building and <br />Procurement Commission's CISV Program for a total of $49,224.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 3. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl is authorized to <br />execute appropriate purchasing documents with the State of Texas on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 4.
