This is an opportunity for the Press
and Public to ask questions related to items on this agenda.
Lisa Spencer, 100 Mimosa Circle, So we're not going to cut anything?
Mayor Guerrero: At this time what has been presented to us is just the overall budget. We'll
see another item on next Tuesday's agenda so if we have any additional questions in regards to
any changes. But with that, what we have been able to do even though we aren't taking on
any additional debt; it is giving us the opportunity to cash fund a number of different projects.
Not only cash fund some projects, but shelve some projects that are no longer a high priority.
So there have been projects that have been reprioritized and reallocated so that we can get
them out and not have to worry additional debt which is allowing us to reduce our debt. In
essence we're getting there, and it won't be in one fiscal year or two fiscal years, but we are
getting there.
8.
