RESOLUTION 2011- 104 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE AWARD OF THREE <br />CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS TO TECHLINE CONSTRUCTION, LLC <br />INC. FOR THE RECONDUCTOR SAN MARCOS FEEDER 180 PROJECT <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $43,779.00; THE CANYON SUBSTATION <br />FEEDERS PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $197,645.00 AND THE <br />DOWNTOWN UNDERGROUND (OVERHEAD PORTION) PROJECT IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $122,474.00 THROUGH THE CITY'S TECHNICAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER <br />AUTHORITY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />ALL CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The award of a construction contract to Techline Construction, LLC for the <br />Reconductor San Marcos Feeder 180 Project in the amount of $43,779.00 through the City's <br />Technical Services Agreement with the Lower Colorado River Authority ( "LCRA ") is approved. <br />PART 2. The award of a construction contract to Techline Construction, LLC for the <br />Canyon Substation Feeder Project in the amount of $197,645.00 through the City's Technical <br />Services Agreement the LCRA is approved. <br />PART 3. The award of a construction contract to Techline Construction, LLC for the <br />Downtown Underground (Overhead Portion) in the amount of $122,474.00 through the City's <br />Technical Services Agreement with LCRA is approved. <br />PART 4. The City Manager, James R. Nuse, P.E., is authorized to execute all the <br />contract documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 5.
