<br />66. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2005- 14 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS FINDING 48 PERSONAL COMPUTERS TO BE SURPLUS AND OF <br />NO VALUE TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS PUBLIC LIBRARY, <br />AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF THESE COMPUTERS TO THE SAN <br />MARCOS HOUSING AUTHORITY, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE <br /> <br />RECIT ALS <br /> <br />1 The City of San Marcos Public Library has in its possession 48 Personal <br />Computers ("PCs") purchased several years prior to allow public access to the Internet. <br /> <br />2 The Library staff has determined that these 48 PCs are of no value to the City <br />and is replacing them with newer computers as part of the library automation program <br />currently underway <br /> <br />3 The City Council wishes to approve the donation of these 48 PCs to the San <br />Marcos Housing Authority for use in its Family Self Sufficiency Program <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS <br /> <br />PART 1 The City Council finds and determines that 48 PCs in the City's Public <br />Library are surplus and of no value to the City of San Marcos <br /> <br />PART 2 The City Council authorizes the donation of these PCs to the San <br />Marcos Housing Authority <br /> <br />PART 4 This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br />after its passage <br /> <br />ADOPTED this the 18 th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />January <br /> <br />,2005 <br /> <br />~1 <br /> <br />Susan Narvaiz ~ <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Atte~t. <br />M/V\-)~~I'~J' <br />itv!)W'~ v J !jJIVi"-1IL <br />Janis K Womack <br />City Clerk <br />
