The Consultant wIll reVIew the work and results of all testmg laboratones as reqUIred by the constructIOn contract documents. 1 7 16 ReVIew and make all declSlons regardmg the approval or takmg of other appropnate actIOn upon the Contractor's submIttals, mcludmg but not lImIted to, shop drawmgs, product data and samples, schedule of values and progress schedule. Such actIOn wIll be taken WIth reasonable promptness, but generally not to exceed 15 days or such penod of tIme as WIll not cause delay of the ProJect. 1 7 17 Prepare mmor changes m the plans and specIficatIOns as dIrected by the CIty; and prepare necessary change orders m tnplIcate ongmals for approval by the CIty and executIOn m accordance WIth the constructIOn contract documents. Consultant WIll not Issue change orders not prevIOusly approved m wntmg by CIty, and no course of conduct on the part of Consultant or City wIll amend, waIVe or alter thIS provlSlon. 1 7 18 Conduct professIOnal mspectIOns to determme the dates of substantIal completIOn and final completIon for the ProJect, to evaluate the work for acceptable conformance WIth the constructIon contract documents and m lIght of any subsequent tests performed as described m SubsectIOn 1 7 14 to venfy that any mmor deVIatIOns from the constructIon contract documents as described m SubsectIOn 1 7 14 have been corrected and that the reasons for any speCIfic qualIficatIOns m any and all prevIOUS certIficates for payment as described m SubsectIOn I 7 14 hereof are eIther no longer valId or the condltIon(s) and/or problem(s) have been corrected, wIll receIve and reVIew wntten warrantIes and related documents requued by the constructIon contract documents and assembled by the Contractor; wIll Issue final certIficates for payment or take other appropnate actIOn, and WIll make a wntten recommendatIOn to the CIty regardmg CIty'S acceptance of the ProJect. 1 7 19 ReqUIre the submIssIOn by the Contractor, and subcontractors performmg work on the ProJect SIte, of penodlc wage rate payment reports and, aSSIst the CIty m venfYIng complIance WIth federal and state wage rate requuements for the ProJect; and notIfy the City of any 8
