Item 15 <br />Attachment # 2 <br />Page 5 of 14 <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />2011 -12 ANNUAL BUDGET <br />WASTEWATER RATE — SCHEDULE RS -1 <br />(RURAL CUSTOMERS) <br />ADDlicable: <br />To any customer using wastewater services and being served through a single water <br />meter, unless wastewater is separately measured, and within the corporate limits of <br />the City. Service will be furnished under this rate schedule subject to the established <br />rules and regulations of the City covering this type of service. <br />Rate: <br />RS- 1A:5/8 -3/4 Inch Water Meter: <br />First 2,000 gallons - $28.74 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 2,000 gallons - $8.27 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br />RS -1 B: 1 -Inch Water Meter: <br />First 4,000 gallons - $57.39 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 4,000 gallons - $8.27 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br />RS -1 C: 1 -1 /2 Inch Water Meter: <br />First 8,000 gallons - $114.76 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 8,000 gallons - $8.27 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br />RS -1 D: 2 -Inch Water Meter and ereater: <br />First 13,000 gallons - $183.64 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 13,000 gallons - $8.27 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br />Maximum Bill: <br />No additional charge will be applied to a single - family Residential Customers for <br />volumes in excess of 9,000 gallons for the RS -1 A, RS -1 B, RS -1 C rate categories. <br />SinRle Point of Deliverv: <br />The above rates are based upon the supply of water to the entire premises through a <br />single delivery and metering point. A separate supply of water for the same consumer <br />at other points of consumption shall be separately metered and billed. <br />Ontional Methodolo¢v for Measurement of Use by Industrial Users: <br />An industrial user that uses a 2 -inch or larger meter may submit a written request for the use of a <br />methodology to determine the amount of wastewater services used other than metering of water or <br />wastewater use. The methodology must be designed to charge the user for actual wastewater service <br />use, and is subject to approval by the Director of Water/ Wastewater-Utility Operations. If approved, <br />the methodology will be used for a period of three years, subject to renewal upon submission by the <br />user of a renewal request accompanied by updated methodology information, and approval by the <br />Director of Water/ Wastewater Utility Operations. For this purpose, "industrial user" is defined as a <br />manufacturing or industrial operation. <br />Item 15 <br />
