Item 15 <br />Attachment # 1 <br />Page 6 of 9 <br />EXHIBIT `B" <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />2011 -12 ANNUAL BUDGET <br />WASTEWATER RATE — SCHEDULE US -1 <br />(URBAN CUSTOMERS) <br />AD_ Dlicable: <br />To any customer using wastewater services and being served through a single water meter, <br />unless wastewater is separately measured, and within the corporate limits of the City. <br />Service will be furnished under this rate schedule subject to the established rules and <br />regulations of the City covering this type of service. <br />Rate: <br />US- 1A:5/8 -3/4 Inch Water Meter: <br />First 2,000 gallons - $22.98 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 2,000 gallons - $6.62 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br />US -1B: 1 -Inch Water Meter: <br />First 4,000 gallons - $45.91 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 4,000 gallons - $6.62 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br />US -1C: 1 -1/2 Inch Water Meter: <br />First 8,000 gallons - $91.81 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 8,000 gallons - $6.62 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br />US -1D: 2 -Inch Water Meter and treater: <br />First 13,000 gallons - $146.91 Minimum Bill. <br />Over 13,000 gallons - $6.62 per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. <br />Maximum Bill: <br />No additional charge will be applied to a single- family Residential Customers for volumes in <br />excess of 9,000 gallons for the US -1 A, US -1 B, US -1 C rate categories. <br />Single Point of Deliverv: <br />The above rates are based upon the supply of water to the entire premises through a single <br />delivery and metering point. A separate supply of water for the same consumer at other <br />points of consumption shall be separately metered and billed. <br />OD_ tional Methodolo2v for Measurement of Use by Industrial Users: <br />An industrial user that uses a 2 -inch or larger meter may submit a written request for the use of a methodology <br />to determine the amount of wastewater services used other than metering of water or wastewater use. The <br />methodology must be designed to charge the user for actual wastewater service use, and is subject to approval <br />by the Director of Water/ Wastewater Utility Operations. If approved, the methodology will be used for a <br />period of three years, subject to renewal upon submission by the user of a renewal request accompanied by <br />updated methodology information, and approval by the Director of Water/ Wastewater Utility Operations. For <br />this purpose, "industrial user" is defined as a manufacturing or industrial operation. <br />Item 15 <br />
