<br />94. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2000- 8 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.2 TO <br />THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY, HAYS COUNTY <br />AND SAN MARC 0 S/HA YS COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br />SERVICES, INC.; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />1. Hays County wishes to revise the agreement between Hays County, the City of San Marcos and <br />the San Marcos/Hays County Emergency Medical Services, Inc. ("EMS") for the provision of <br />emergency medical services with respect to the composition of the governing body of EMS. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The terms and conditions of the attached Amendment No.2 to the Interlocal Agreement <br />for Emergency Medical Services between Hays County, the City and the San Marcos/Hays County <br />Emergency Medical Services, Inc. are approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute this Amendment on behalf <br />of the City. <br /> <br />P ART 3.
