<br />Council negotiate with the State of Texas and Southwest Texas State <br />University for the City's acquisition of the property commonly known <br />as the Aquarena Springs property, including the Spring Lake Dam <br />and associated water rights, and the restaurant site adjacent to the <br />Spring Lake Dam, for a cost not to exceed the fair market value of the <br />property, as an addition to the city's parks and greenspace system, <br />with costs for conversion to park and greenspace use not to exceed <br />the acquisition cost of the property. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. The election precincts for the City election shall be substantially the same <br />precincts as those Hays County Election Precincts which are within the corporate limits of the City <br />of San Marcos. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. The City Council ofthe City shall adopt a resolution on or before March 6, <br />2000, appointing presidingjudges and alternate judges to serve in this election, and it shall be each <br />such judge's duty to hold the election in their respective precincts, and any vacancies occurring <br />after the initial appointment may be filled by subsequent resolution(s) of the City Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. Each presiding judge may appoint up to two clerks, and with the permission <br />of the City Secretary, additional clerks, to serve for each precinct in this election. <br /> <br />SECTION 9.
