RESOLUTION NO. 2011- 112 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR A JOINT ADVERTISING <br />PROGRAM BETWEEN THE CITY AND TANGER PROPERTIES <br />LIMITED PARTNERSHIP IN THE AMOUNT OF $100,000.00; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE <br />AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. In order to ensure the continued success of the San Marcos outlet mall area, and to <br />enhance revenue to the City from tourism and retail business activity, the City has used the <br />professional services and resources of Tanger Properties Limited Partnership ( "Tanger ") for <br />advertising programs in the past. <br />2. The City Council wishes to approve the attached agreement, which would continue the <br />joint advertising program for the next year. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached agreement for professional services for a joint advertising program <br />between the City and Tanger Properties Limited Partnership is approved. <br />City. <br />PART 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the attached agreement on behalf of the <br />PART 3.
