In accordance with Section 8 16 of the City Charter, the City Council declares that a <br />pubhc necessity eXists that reqmres an amendment to the City'S 2005-2006 Budget to provide <br />fundmg for the Economic Development Services Agreement With Margie V Moore, d/b/a <br />Global Marketeer Group <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS' <br /> <br />SECTION 1 The City Budget Ordmance for the 2005-2006 Fiscal Year is amended as <br />set forth m the attached Exhibit A, m order to provide fundmg for the Economic Development <br />Services Agreement With Margie V Moore, d/b/a Global Marketeer Group <br /> <br />SECTION 2. These reVlSlons and reappropnatlOns will be mcorporated mto the 2005- <br />2006 City Budget. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of thiS ordmance is <br />held to be unconstitutlOnal or mvahd by a court of competent JunsdictlOn, the other prOVlSlons of <br />thiS ordmance will contmue m force if they can be given effect Without the mvahd portlOn. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. All ordmances and resolutions or parts of ordmances or resolutlOns m <br />conflict With thiS ordmance are repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 5.
