Kl..) ~~'J<lf' ORDINANCE 2005-90 -' \/I! .:::: AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, (.) QECLARING THE RESULTS AND CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF A BOND ELECTION HELD WITHIN SAID CITY ON NOVEMBER 8, 2005; AND CONTAINING OTHER PROVISIONS INCIDENT AND RELATED TO THE PURPOSES 7-5 " WHEREAS, this City Council duly authorized an election to be held within the City of San Marcos, Texas (the "City") on November 8, 2005, for the purpose of submitting to the resident qualified electors of the City the propositions hereinafter set forth, WHEREAS, thIS City Council has investigated all matters pertaming to said election, WHEREAS, the election officers who held said election have duly made the returns of the results thereof, and said returns have been duly delivered to this City Council, WHEREAS, it is officially found and determined that the said election was duly ordered, that proper notice thereof was duly given, that proper election officers were duly appointed prior to said election, that saId election was duly and lawfully held, that due returns of the result of said election have been made and delivered, and that this City Council has duly canvassed said returns, all in accordance WIth law and the Ordmance calling said election, Now, Therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS Section I Findings. The statements contained m the preamble of this Ordinance are true and correct and are adopted as findmgs of fact and operative provisions hereof. SectIon 2. Canvass Approved. The tabulation of votes cast in said election made and certified by the City Clerk of the City, a copy of WhICh IS attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herem, is hereby adopted as the official tabulation of said votes, and this ordinance, with said tabulation attached, shall be filed and recorded in the official records of the City as the offiCIal canvass of saId election. Section 3 Results Declared. It is further officially found and determined that the following votes were cast at said election on the submitted propositions by the resident qualified electors of the CIty who voted at said election.
