<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />147. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2005- 183 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS FINDING CERTAIN OUTDATED COMPUTERS TO BE SURPLUS <br />AND OF NO VALUE TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN AND DONATION OF THE COMPUTERS TO <br />THE COMPUTERS FOR LEARNING PROGRAM, AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />RECIT ALS <br /> <br />1 The City of San Marcos has encountered difficulties related to the disposal <br />of its outdated computers <br /> <br />2 The Texas Department of Human Services administers the Computers for <br />Learning Program ("CLP") whereby outdated computers are donated to Gary Job Corps, <br />the San Marcos CISD as well as other local entities who can make use of these outdated <br />computers <br /> <br />3 City staff has determined that these computers are surplus and of no value <br />to the City and wishes to participate in and donate these surplus computers to the CLP <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS <br /> <br />PART 1 The City Council finds and determines that certain outdated computers <br />are surplus and of no value to the City of San Marcos <br /> <br />PART 2 The City Council authorizes the City's participation in and donation of <br />these outdated computers to the CLP <br /> <br />PART 3 This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br />after its passage <br /> <br />ADOPTED this the 14th <br /> <br />day of December <br /> <br />,2005 <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br />/"'~4 /VII' ---t1 / I;/' ../),);1i It~ j; _/ <br />/ iJI/1 //~ l ' l' <br />Janis K.
