<br />6~ ~ ~~ <br />c..> ~ ~m <br />.9 ",.:--. 1.I.I:i <br />U ~~ ~ ~j <br />~ GI;I'S <br />w"__1 <br />-~;y <br /> <br />109 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2000 - 10 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE ABANDONMENT OF THE <br />ALLEYWAY BETWEEN LOTS 11 AND 12, BLOCK 1 OF THE WEST END <br />ADDITION; APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF THIS ALLEYWAY TO <br />DAVID BOYSEN; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br />DEED; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On January 25, 2000, the City Planning and Zoning Commission conducted <br />a public hearing on the proposed abandonment of the alleyway adjacent to Lots 11 and <br />12, Block 1 of the West End Addition, and voted unanimously to approve the proposal. <br /> <br />2. The City Council conducted a public hearing regarding this abandonment on <br />March 6 , 2000. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The abandonment of the alleyway between Lots 11 and 12, Block 1 <br />of the West End Addition is approved. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />Quitclaim Deed attached to this ordinance conveying to David Boysen the alleyway <br />described above, without cash consideration. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance will take effect 10 days after the date of its final <br />passage, and the City Secretary will publish notice of its adoption in a newspaper of <br />general circulation in the City. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading March 6, 2000. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading March 27, 2000. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED Apri 1 10, 2000. <br /> <br />D~~.~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
