<br />118. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2000- 81 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING A FORMAT FOR SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENTS <br />BETWEEN THE CITY AND VARIOUS ENTITIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999 <br />AND FISCAL YEAR 2000 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />FUNDS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THESE <br />AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council approved the reallocation of $483,879.00 in previous Community <br />Development Block Grants ("CDBG") funds and the City has received an allocation of <br />$713,000.00 in Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2000. <br /> <br />2. The City Council wishes to disburse these allocated grant funds by authorizing the <br />execution of the Subrecipient Agreements with subrecipients. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached format of the Subrecipient Agreement between the City <br />and various qualified subrecipients for their receipt of CDBG grant funds is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley and the City Attorney, Mark B. <br />Taylor are authorized to negotiate the terms of the agreement to fit the type of activity to <br />be undertaken by each subrecipient. <br /> <br />PART 3. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute these <br />Agreements on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br />after its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this the <br /> <br />10th day of <br /> <br />April <br /> <br />2000. <br /> <br />f).~~~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
