RESOLUTION 2000- 115 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING A RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON MAY 9, 2000 TO APPOINT A SUBSTITUTE CENTRAL COUNTING STATION MANAGER, A SUBSTITUTE CENTRAL COUNTING STATION CLERK, A SUBSTITUTE ALTERNATE JUDGE FOR PRECINCT 112, AND A SUBSTITUTE ALTERNATE JUDGE FOR PRECINCT 334/445 FOR THE SPECIAL RUNOFF ELECTION TO BE HELD ON JUNE 3, 2000, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. The City Council of the City of San Marcos adopted a resolution on May 9, 2000, which appointed presiding and alternate judges in the special runoff election to be held on June 3, 2000 (the "Election"). 2. It is necessary to amend that resolution to appoint different individuals to certain positions as officials for the Election. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. Part 7 of the Resolution adopted on May 9, 2000 which appointed officials for the Election is amended to substitute: Jeff McGill for Chris Baker as the Central Counting Station Manager. PART 2. Part 8 of the Resolution adopted May 9, 2000 which appointed officials for the Election is amended to substitute: Virginia Sierra for Jeff McGill as a Central Counting Station Clerk. PART 3. Part 1 of the Resolution adopted on May 9, 2000 which appointed officials for the Election is amended to substitute: Helen Franks for Herminia Flores as the Alternate Judge of Precinct 112. Doris Connally for Martha Shelton as the Alternate Judge of Precinct 334/445. PART 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage.
