FIELD NOTE DESCRIPTION OF A SURVEY MADE ON THE GROUND OF 0.78 ACRES Or:' u>.~m, MORE OR' LESS, IN THE WILLIAM PETTUS 2 LEAGUE GRANT, CALDWELL COUNTY, TEXAS BEING A PART OF THAT 1303.055 ACRE TRACT CONVEYED BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 313, PAGE 463 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING at a concrete monument found for the north corner of the City of San Marcos tract, said point being at or near the north corner of the William Pettus 2 League Grant, and the west corner of the Thomas Yates Survey and being in the southwest line of a county road and in the southeast line of State Highway Number 21, from said concrete monument another concrete monument found bears, S49022'W 1405.79 feet; THENCE leaving the county road, State Highway Number 21, and the Thomas Yates Survey and entering the City of San Marcos tract, S240l7'22"W 3488.6 feet to an iron rod set in the south line of an asphalt taxiway for the northeast corner and PLACE OF BEGINNING of this tract~ THENCE leaving the PLACE OF BEGINNING and the asphalt taxiway, S030l4'E 800.00 feet to an iron rod set for an east re-entrant corner of this tract~ THENCE N86046'E 35.00 feet to an iron rod set for an east salient corner of this tract~ THENCE S03Ol4'E 100.00 feet to an iron rod set for the southeast corner of this tract; THENCE S86046'W 100.00 feet to an iron rod set for the southwest corner of this tract~ THENCE N03Ol4'W 100.00 feet to an iron rod set for a west salient corner of this tract; THENCE N86046'E 35.00 feet to an iron rod set for a west re-entrant corner of this tract; THENCE N03Ol4'W BOO.OO feet to an iron rod set in the south line of an asphalt taxiway for the northwest corner of this tract; Client: Date: Survey: County: Job No.: THENCE with the south line of said asphalt taxiway, N86046'E 30.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
