<br />19. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2000- 170 R <br />--. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE DOWNTOWN <br />STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT TO J.P. GENERAL <br />CONTRACTORS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS <br /> <br />PART 1. The award of a contract for the Downtown Streetscape Improvements <br />Project to J.P. General Contractors located in Burnet, Texas in the amount of <br />$1,710,000.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the contract <br />documents on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
