<br />20. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2000 - 171R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING TWO PIPELINE <br />CROSSING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY AND <br />UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY FOR THE <br />INSTALLATION OF WATER PIPELINE CROSSINGS NEAR <br />THE BOBCAT DRIVE RAILROAD CROSSING AND NEAR <br />THE INTERSECTION OF GUADALUPE STREET AND <br />CHEATHAM STREET; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br />TO EXECUTE THE PIPELINE AGREEMENTS; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1 . The Union Pacific Railroad Company (the "Railroad") owns property located within <br />the City's of San Marcos, Texas which is an integral part of the upgrading of the water <br />pipelines within the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />2. The City desires to enter into the attached Pipeline Crossing Agreements with the <br />Railroad for installing, maintaining and operating a 10 inch water pipeline and a 6 inch <br />water pipeline crossing Railroad property. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached Pipeline Crossing Agreements between the City and <br />Union Pacific Railroad Company are approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D.
