Invocation. <br />Jason Bollinger with River Stone Community Church provided the invocation. <br />S. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />William Bassette a 4th grade gifted and talented student from Hernandez Elementary led the <br />assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge. <br />6. 30 !41nute Citizen Comment Period. <br />Lee Ash -Cantu, 7107 Maverick Ct, spoke in support of banning single use plastic bags within the <br />City of San Marcos, <br />Dianne Wassenich, II Tanglewood Trail, addressed The Retreat and that during the clearing <br />process a well that was not plugged was bulldozed, Stated that the City needs to have a <br />procedure to protect against this, <br />J,D. Porter, 2717 E, 22"d St, spoke in support of banning single use plastic bags within the City <br />of San Marcos, <br />David Wendel, 118 E, Holland, asked the Council to consider a future agenda item about <br />development and dismantling of areas near the headwaters of the San Marcos River. <br />Dr, Mario Garza, 600 Boulder Bif, asked the Council to consider adopting a resolution regarding <br />what type of development they want at the headwaters of the San Marcos River (their Church). <br />He made complaints against the golfers that play close by when they are at their prayer site. <br />Greg Frank, 203 W. Hillcrest Dr, spoke in support of banning single use plastic bags within the <br />City of San Marcos. <br />Mike Meroncy, 1402 Nueces St, Austin, TX, spoke on behalf of the retailers and was against a <br />single use plastic bag ban, <br />Jesus Ordaz, 200 Robbie Lane, spoke in support of banning single use plastic bags within the <br />City of San Marcos. <br />Katie Steele, 1016 Sycamore St, spoke in support of banning single use plastic bags within the <br />City of San Marcos. <br />
