<br />62. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2000- 188 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, REJECTING ALL BIDS SUBMITTED FOR THE SAN MARCOS <br />SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT FOR THE <br />ENVIRONMENT AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On July 27,2000 the City opened bids for the San Marcos Sanitary Sewer <br />Rehabilitation Project (the"Project") for the Environment and Engineering Department. <br /> <br />2. City staff has determined that the low bidder did not meet the qualifications <br />detailed in the technical specifications of the bid documents. <br /> <br />3. The second lowest bidder notified the City that it had made a material <br />mistake in the preparation of the bid and asked that its bid not be considered. <br /> <br />4. City staff recommends the rejection of all bids for the Project. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. All bids received in response to an invitation for bids for the Project are <br />rejected. <br /> <br />PART 2.
