On September 12, 2000, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of <br />San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "R-1" <br />Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to "P" Public and Institutional District for <br />Lots 12 and 13, Block 1 0, Sunset Acres Addition located at 405 Broadway Street. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission did, on September 12, 2000, consider and vote to approve the request, <br />and has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the <br />November , 2000, regarding the request. <br /> <br />13th day of <br /> <br />4. All requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Marcos City Code <br />pertaining to zoning map amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the <br />following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section <br />114.029 of the San Marcos City Code, is amended to rezone the following real property <br />which is presently zoned "R-1" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) to "P" <br />Public and Institutional District: <br /> <br />Street address: <br /> <br />405 Broadway Street. <br /> <br />Leqal description: Lots 12 and 13, Sunset Acres Addition Addition. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume 1, page 101-102, Hays County Plat Records. <br />
