<br />128. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2000 - 215 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OFTHE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS APPROVING THE REALLOCATION OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING FROM PROGRAM <br />ADMINISTRATION AND SANITARY SEWER PROJECT TO THE <br />NEIGHBORHOOD SIDEWALK PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City accomplished the preparation of the 2000-2004 Consolidated Plan <br />without the assistance of an outside consultant resulting in a savings in the Administration <br />line item. This savings leaves a balance of 57,504.34 in the Administration line item. <br /> <br />2. The sanitary sewer laterals located in low-income neighborhoods were <br />accomplished as part of an existing contract administered by the City's Engineering <br />Department which resulted in a savings of $10,000.00. <br /> <br />3. The City Council wishes to reallocate the $67,504.34 in savings from these <br />two line items to the Neighborhood Sidewalk Project. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1.
