<br /> <br />~ <br />~ >-:8 <br />ty 0:::0 <br />\) ;:':~ <br />'" 1..U:2E <br />0::<:: <br />Ucti <br />~~ <br />Q <br /> <br />196 <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 2000- 76 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY <br />REZONING LOT 4, BLOCK 13 OF THE LINDSEY AND <br />HARVEY ADDITION, LOCATED AT 325 NORTH <br />STREET, FROM "P" PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL <br />DISTRICT TO "MF-3" MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL <br />DISTRICT (HIGH DENSITY); INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />PENALTIES. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On October 24, 2000, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning from "P" Public <br />and Institutional District to "MF-3" Multi-Family Residential District (High Density) for <br />Lot 4, Block 13 ofthe Lindsey and Harvey Addition, located at 325 North Street. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission did, on October 24, 2000 consider and vote to approve the request, and has <br />recommended. that the request be. approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 11th day of <br />December , 2000, regarding the request. <br /> <br />4. All requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Marcos City Code <br />pertaining to zoning map amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the <br />following ordinance is in the interest ofthe public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as describ~d in Section <br />114.029 of the San Marcos City Code, is amended to rezone the following real property <br />which is presently zoned "P" Public and Institutional District to "MF-3" Multi-Family <br />Residential District (High Density): <br /> <br />Street address: 325 North Street. <br /> <br />Legal description: Lot 4, Block 13 of the Lindsey & Harvey Addition. <br /> <br />Deed or plat reference: Volume E, page 416, Hays County Deed Records. <br />
