<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />and meet the other professionals involved in the project. <br /> <br />1.2.2 Prepare a preliminary layout for master planning purposes indicating the conceptual <br />layout of the three proposed drops, preliminary elevations for each drop, associated grading on <br />the banks and a narrative of the proposed improvements for use in coordination with permitting <br />agencIes. <br /> <br />1.2.3 Prepare a preliminary report including typical details, specifications for rock armoring <br />and grout, and preliminary quantities and cost estimate for in-stream work. <br /> <br />1.2.4 Complete Task 1 by February 3, 2006. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - HYDRAULIC IMPACT VERIFICATION <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Provide four stream cross sections at each proposed drop for integration into the <br />Hydrologic Engineering Centers River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) program to determine any <br />impacts to the flow regime and flood elevations on the San Marcos River. Integration and <br />running of the HEC-RAS model will be completed by others for this project. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Revise cross sections based upon results of modeling. Coordinate with embankment <br />design. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Complete Task 2 by February 14, 2006. <br /> <br />1.4 TASK 3 - PERMITTING <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Assist the City in connection with the City's responsibility for filing documents required <br />for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. The budget for <br />this task assumes the Consultant will provide two staff members for permit consultation/design <br />review with the City. <br /> <br />1.5 TASK 4 - CONSTRUCTION PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.5.1 Assist the City in the development of the final design for the project which will include <br />all mapping and details, design for specific water levels, and integration with other on-site <br />improvements. <br /> <br />1.5.2 Conduct site visit with two of the Consultant's staff to verify design on-site and for pre- <br />construction meetings with the City and the construction contractor(s). <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />REP Rio Vista Dam <br />
