Mr. Taylor moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance, and Mr. Thomaides seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING A 6.4988 ACRE, MORE OR LES S , TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 2350 CLOVI S BARKER ROAD AS "LI" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mr. Guerrero inquired to whether this proposed zoning is shown on the Transportation Master plan and Thoroughfare Master Plan as the future I extension of State Highway 21. Mr. O'Leary stated on the Transportation Master Plan and Thoroughfare Master Plan Highway 123 will extend through San Marcos adjacent to this property. Mr. Thomaides inquired as to the kind of industry the applicant is proposing for this property. Mr.
