<br />62. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2004- 186 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE <br />FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF <br />THE CITY, FROM COMMERCIAL AND HIGH <br />DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL FOR A <br />11.7028 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, TRACT OF <br />PROPERTY IN THE 2600 BLOCK OF HUNTER ROAD, <br />AND FROM COMMERCIAL AND HIGH DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL TO PUBLIC AND INSTITUTIONAL <br />FOR A 23.8711 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, TRACT OF <br />PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 2600 BLOCK OF <br />HUNTER ROAD AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1. On September 28, 2004, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of <br />San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map <br />of the Master Plan from Commercial and High Density Residential to Commercial for a <br />11.7028 acre, more or less, tract of property in the 2600 Block of Hunter Road, and from <br />Commercial and High Density Residential to Public and Institutional for a 23.87111 acre., <br />more or less, tract of property located in the 2600 Block of Hunter Road. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zonmg <br />Commission did, on September 28, 2004, consider the request and voted to approve the <br />request, and has recommended that the request be approved by the City Council of the <br />City. <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 8 thday of November, 2004" <br />regarding the request. <br /> <br />4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to Future Land Use Map <br />amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the <br />following resolution is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety_ <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />I <br />
