<br />16. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2004- 145R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE <br />FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF <br />THE CITY, FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO <br />HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR A 19.68 ACRE <br />TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1800 POST <br />ROAD AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On June 8, 2004, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of <br />the Master Plan from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential for a 19.68 <br />acre tract of property located at 1800 Post Road. <br /> <br />2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission did, on June 8, 2004, consider the request and voted to deny the request, <br />and has recommended that the request be denied by the City Council of the City. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 13 day of September , 2004, <br />regarding the request. <br /> <br />4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to Future Land Use Map <br />amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the <br />following resolution is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />P ART 1. The following described tract of real property, which is in an area <br />shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as <br />Low Density Residential, shall be shown on that map as High Density Residential: <br /> <br />Street address: 1800 Post Road. <br /> <br />Size: 19.68 acres. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Legal description: See attached Exhibit A. <br />
