<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />qualificatIOns in any and all previous certificates for payment as descnbed 111 Subsection I 6.] 4 <br />hereof are either no longer valid or the condltion(s) and/or problem(s) have been corrected, shall <br />receIve and reVIew written warranties and related documents required by the construcllon <br />contract documents and assembled by the Contractor; wIll Issue final certificates for payment or <br />take other appropriate action; and will make a WrItten recommendatIon to the City regardll1g <br />City's acceptance of the Proj ect. <br /> <br />1.6.19 Require the submIssion by the Contractor, and subcontractors performing v,:ork on the <br />Project site, of periodic wage rate payment reports and, With the CIty'S aSSistance, VCrI Cy <br />compliance with federal and state wage rate requirements for the ProJect; and notIce the Clty of <br />any noncompliance, or of the failure by the Contractor or subcontractor's to make submIssions <br /> <br />1 6.20 Prepare, or cause to be prepared, and submit to the CIty a set of reproducible record <br />draWIngs shoWIng sigmficant changes III the work made dunng the constructIon phase. <br /> <br />1.6.21 Ensure that all notices and SIgns reqUIred and proVIded by the City are posted in thc <br />appropriate locations at the Project site by the Contractor. <br /> <br />1.6.22 Conduct final inspection with the City and prepare a punch lIst pnor to final acceptance <br />by the City. <br /> <br />1.6.23 Pnor to the end of the one year warranty perIod, reVlew the completed Project \\Ilh the <br />City and the Contractor and have all deficient Items corrected. The extent of the dutIes, <br />responsibilities and limitations of authority of the Engineer as the City's representatIve dunng <br />construction wIll not be modIfied or extended after the construction contract documents have <br />been authonzed by the City to be competItively bid WIthout wntten consent of the City and the <br />Engineer and with notice to the Contractor. <br /> <br />1.7 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />1.7.1 The City may dIrect the Engineer to perform services outSIde of the scope of the BaSIC <br />Services described in Sections 1.1 through 1.6 above The EngIneer will submIt a wntten <br />estimate of fees to the City and obtain the CIty's authorization before 1I11tlatll1g any additIOnal <br />servIces. The Basic ServIces detailed above do not include any of the folJowll1g AdditIonal <br />ServIces' <br /> <br />a) ObtaIning rights-of-entry onto property In the ProJect area. <br />b) FIeld survey of the boundarIes of designated parcel easements <br />c) Relocations of existing utilIties. <br />d) Change in pIpeline alignment after Phase 1 DeSIgn ServIces. <br />e) Services of a full-time, on-site resident proJect representative for the on-site <br />observation of constructIon. <br />f) Re-staking after initIal stakIng for design or constructIOn phases <br />g) Assistance to the City as an expert witness in any litigation with third partles ansll1g <br />from the development or constructIOn of the Project. <br /> <br />8 <br />
