I Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, SEEKING THE ENDORSEMENT OF THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES BOARD OF DIRECTORS; NOMINATING CANDIDATES FOR APPOINTMENT TO COMMITTEES OF THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Mihalkanin moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Guerrero seconded the motion. Mr. Mihalkanin moved to amend Part 2 to add the nomination of Susan Narvaiz to the Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Committee, and Mr. Thomaides seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Diaz, Guerrero, Mihalkanin, Thomaides, Bose and Taylor. NAY: None. I ABSTAIN: Narvaiz. Mr. Thomaides moved to amend Part 2 to add the nomination of Gaylord Bose to the Transportation, Infrastructure and Services Committee, and Mr. Mihalkanin seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Diaz, Guerrero, Mihalkanin, Narvaiz, Thomaides and Taylor. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Bose. On roll call for adoption of the Resolution, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Diaz, Guerrero, Mihalkanin, Thomaides and Taylor. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Narvaiz and Bose. I
